Agent Wielder is local-first by default. Your prompts, sequences, word lists and settings are stored on your device and never leave it through the core extension. Personal data is processed only if you choose to create an account, subscribe, or turn on optional cloud sync, and each of those is described below. Third-party AI platforms collect data. Separately from anything in this policy, the AI platforms you use (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney and others) collect and process your prompts and conversations under their own privacy policies and terms. Read and accept each platform's terms before using it with Agent Wielder.
This policy describes how Agent Wielder ("we", "our", "the extension") handles your information. Agent Wielder is developed and maintained by Ralph Theodori, Bergisch Gladbacher Str. 135–137, 51065 Köln, Germany, who is the controller under the GDPR. Contact: support@wielder.de.
Agent Wielder works entirely on your device unless you opt into an account. By default the extension does not transmit:
- Prompt content: your prompts, sequences and instructions are kept in your browser's extension storage and are not sent to our servers.
- AI conversations: these happen directly between your browser and the AI platform; we never see them.
- Usage data: no analytics, telemetry or behavioural tracking.
- Browsing history: no tracking of the websites you visit.
- Device fingerprints: no canvas, WebGL or font-based fingerprints.
- Location: no tracking of where you are.
- Advertising: no cookies, web beacons, ad trackers or advertising identifiers.
This is the state of the extension the moment you install it, and it stays that way unless you take one of the actions in section 3.
Agent Wielder offers an optional account with a paid tier and optional sync across devices. None of it starts on its own: each part begins with an action you take (opening account settings, starting checkout, or turning on sync in Settings). This is the complete list:
- Email address: when you create an account or start checkout. Stored with Supabase (our database provider), for sign-in, account recovery and receipts.
- Sign-in session: while you are signed in. Supabase Auth, with a session token on your device, to keep you signed in.
- Subscription status and Stripe customer and subscription IDs: when you subscribe. Supabase and Stripe, to unlock paid features and bill you.
- Payment card details: at checkout. Handled by Stripe only; they never reach our servers.
- Synced configuration (agent and template settings, including any custom agent-phase text you write in the Studio): only if you turn on Cloud Sync in Settings, which is off by default. Supabase, linked to your account, so your setup is available on your other devices.
Not collected, even with an account: what you send to AI platforms (see section 4), browsing history, page content, device fingerprints, precise location or advertising identifiers. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising or unrelated purposes. If you never open an account or subscription flow, none of this section applies to you.
The account features above concern our servers. Separately, the AI platforms you automate receive and process your prompts exactly as if you had typed them yourself: your prompts and conversations, your account details with them, usage data, and possibly the use of your content to train their models. Agent Wielder is independent of these platforms and has no control over what they collect or how they use it.

Your browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave and others) also has its own policies on extension storage, permissions and sync.
- Local data is protected by your browser's storage; securing your device and browser is up to you.
- Account data travels over TLS. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant) and never reach our servers.
- Back up important prompts and sequences: clearing browser storage deletes local data.
- Local data stays on your device until you delete it with the extension's delete functions, clear browser storage, or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling removes all local extension data.
- Account data is kept while your account is active. Delete your account and its data at any time in Settings ("Delete Account & Data") or by email; deletion is applied within 30 days and backups are purged within 90 days, except what the law requires us to keep (such as billing records). Uninstalling does not delete a remote account.
Agent Wielder is not directed at children under 13, and account features require the ability to enter a payment agreement. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): account, sign-in and subscription data, needed for the account and paid features you request.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): optional cloud sync, active only once you turn it on and withdrawable at any time by turning it off.
- We process no special categories of personal data (such as health or biometric data).
Processors: Supabase (sign-in, database, hosting of account and sync data) and Stripe (payments), both under data-processing agreements with safeguards for international transfers. Some of the extension's own pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which sends your IP address to Google for that request, as on any website that uses it.
Under the GDPR you have the right to information, access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20; export your local prompts and sequences with the extension's export) and objection (Art. 21; turn off cloud sync, cancel your subscription or stop using the extension at any time). Write to support@wielder.de; we answer within 30 days.
You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the one in the EU member state where you live or work, or the authority of the German federal state where the developer is based (Art. 77 GDPR).
California (CCPA): section 3 is the complete list of personal data we process, only for users who create an account. You can delete your account at any time. We do not sell or share personal information, and we treat everyone the same whatever their privacy choices.
Each permission serves the extension's core function only:
- storage: saves your prompts, sequences and settings on your device.
- tabs: detects which supported AI platform a tab is on and coordinates the multi-tab runs you start.
- contextMenus: right-click actions such as "Save to Agent Wielder Library" on supported AI pages.
- sidePanel: the optional side-panel launcher for supported AI sites and Settings.
- Supported-site access: the content script shows the interface and runs the workflows you choose only on the supported AI domains (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Z.ai, Copilot, Poe, Grok and a few image-generation sites), never all sites.
These permissions let the extension work on the pages you use it on; they do not by themselves send anything to our servers, which happens only through the account features in section 3.
We keep this policy in line with what the extension does and update it when that changes. Material changes are announced in the extension, on this page and in the Chrome Web Store listing.
In short: prompts, sequences and settings stay on your device by default; we never see your AI conversations (except custom agent-phase text you write and choose to sync); no analytics, tracking or advertising identifiers; an account is optional, collects only what section 3 lists, and can be deleted at any time.
