Harper Local AI targets current desktop Chrome and Edge. WebGPU accelerates supported devices; WASM is the fallback. Mobile, Safari, and Firefox are not promised for this preview.
The first use of a tool can require a substantial model download. Keep the tab open, allow storage, and ensure enough device memory and disk space. If a cached model becomes corrupted, clear Harper’s site data and allow it to download again.
After the current tool and model have downloaded, that tool may work offline while the browser retains all required cached files. Browser storage is not a guaranteed backup and can be cleared or evicted.
Harper currently loads its curated tools. It does not accept arbitrary ONNX, GGUF, Safetensors, or LLM files.
